VintageMotorcycles.nl is selling this RG500 by order of the current Danish owner, Peter. I have seen the RG500 in Copenhagen. Almost complete original. Engine running nice, but the RG500 needs an owner to get it back in perfect condition again. Mainly paintwork, perhaps the original wheels (which are with the bike), original bottom fairing is also with the bike, but also needs to be painted. Are younger one to get this RG500 back in shape again?

Description
Needs new seat cover front. Few minor faults to bodywork. You can these on the detailed pictures.
Repainted tank but has a paint repair needed on the front as you can see on the pictures.
Very small hole in rear brake light glass
Pluses:
Brakes are all new pads, master cylinders refurbished, new seal kits front and rear.
Front forks are rebuilt with new parts/oil.
Tank and side panels newly painted and logo's
Carbs have been vapor cleaned and re-jettet.
New brake discs suited for the adapters included
Also incl is original wheels ( needs new bearings and dust seals) discs can be refurbished.
All bearings are new or checked over.
Original tools kit is included. Believed to be complete but not 100% sure.
History: the bike was rebuilt during the early Covid-19 period during lock-down.
Used to belong to an old race driver and all parts are original parts minus the aftermarked side mirrors.
The engine has had a top-end rebuilt at some time.
It's very smooth driving and has very nice power delivery as wel.
