Honda CB1100 R 1981

For sale beautiful Honda CB 1100R from 1981
The HRC (Honda Racing Corporation), founded in the early 1980s, interpreted the homologation ideas then in force as generously as possible.

The ideas were sown and the CB1100R was the fruit that was picked. Not many motorcycles more than were needed to be allowed to race saw the light of day, as the CB1100R was basically a rather pricey redeveloped CB900F with fairing. The chassis, suspension, brakes; everything was absolute top quality. In the three years that the 1100R was built, developments did not stand still.
The CB1100RB ('81) had a half fairing, red and white colors, magnesium block covers, inside-out Comstar wheels and a mono seat. This was the granddaddy, the first.

In logical succession came the CB1100RC in 1982. The RC was quite updated with a full fairing, red, white, blue colors, gold anodized boomerang wheels, matte black exhausts and the Honda wing on the tank was still yellow. No less than 1500 homologation motorcycles rolled off the assembly line. The RB and RC were used in racing with great success. Do the names Ron Haslam and Joey Dunlop mean anything to you? Well, they were only too happy with the CB1100R and the results it achieved.

This beautiful original 1981 Honda CB1100 R has only 70,000 miles on it and many more to go.
