This unique beautiful K2 is from 1974 and was bought new by the 1st owner. Half a year ago I had the pleasure to buy this beautiful K2 from the 1st owner. The original exhaust was still there, but in bad shape. It has been replaced by a new (original) 4 in 4 exhaust with the correct number HM341. The original rear shock absorbers are also still present, just like a second brake disc for the front brake, which was bought, but never mounted. The bike has always been maintained by the owner. In the Honda booklet that comes with the bike, is written what and when he did what maintenance. See photo in the album. In aug 2003 the engine was done and new gaskets, seals, tensioners, filter and contact points were replaced. Km-stand then was 59.833 km.

Looking at the numbers, it seems that this is not the original engine for this K2, but it is. In 1974, the "older K2 look in Candy Gold" was still very much in demand in Europe. The new look of the 1974 CB750, was not to everyone's liking. It was for this reason that Honda decided to produce and deliver 1974 K2s for the European market. However...the engine was 1974 and therefore also had a 1974 engine number. So it is certainly original that a K2 with an engine number of 1974 came from the factory.
