1.1 These terms apply to all deliveries of motorcycles purchased through VintageMotorcycles.nl. By completing a purchase, you agree to these delivery terms.
1.2 Delivery times may vary depending on the availability of the motorcycle, the shipping method chosen, and the destination.
2. Delivery Options
2.1 Domestic Delivery: We offer delivery across the Netherlands and surrounding countries via trusted local carriers. Delivery times are typically within 3-7 business days.
2.2 International Delivery: We ship motorcycles worldwide using various transport options, including land, sea, and air. Delivery times vary based on the destination and shipping method:
• Truck Transport (EU): Typically 5-7 business days.
• Sea Freight: Generally takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the destination.
• Air Freight: Usually takes 7-10 business days.
• Personal Transport: Available for nearby locations; contact us for more details.
3. Shipping Costs
3.1 Shipping costs depend on the destination, transport method, and the weight and size of the motorcycle. A detailed shipping quote will be provided at the time of purchase.
3.2 We do not add any markup to the shipping costs; the price quoted is the cost we pay to transport your motorcycle.
4. Delivery Confirmation
4.1 Once your motorcycle has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number (for applicable transport methods) and an estimated delivery date.
4.2 If the delivery is delayed or there are any issues during transit, we will notify you promptly and work with the shipping company to resolve the matter.
5. Customs Duties and Taxes
5.1 For international deliveries, customs duties, import taxes, and any additional charges may apply depending on the destination country.
5.2 These costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will be paid directly to the relevant authorities. VintageMotorcycles.nl is not responsible for these fees.
6. Inspection Upon Delivery
6.1 Upon receiving your motorcycle, we recommend inspecting it immediately to ensure it is in good condition. If you notice any damage or discrepancies, please inform us and the carrier within 24 hours.
6.2 Any damages reported after this period may not be covered under our policy.
7. Delivery Delays
7.1 While we strive to meet delivery estimates, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather, customs issues, or transport disruptions.
7.2 In the event of significant delays, we will keep you informed and offer solutions to resolve the issue.
8. Pickup Option
8.1 If you prefer to pick up your motorcycle in person, you are welcome to do so at our showroom locations in Someren-Eind or Uden, Netherlands.
8.2 Please arrange your pickup time in advance and bring a valid ID and proof of purchase.
9. Ownership and Risk
9.1 Ownership of the motorcycle transfers to you once full payment is received.
9.2 The risk of loss or damage to the motorcycle is transferred to you once the motorcycle is delivered to the shipping carrier or picked up by you.
