Bimota Motorcycles

Founded in 1973 in Rimini, Italy, Bimota has established itself as a symbol of Italian craftsmanship, innovation, and performance in the motorcycle industry. The company’s name is derived from the surnames of its three founders: Valerio Bianchi, Giuseppe Morri, and Massimo Tamburini. Initially focusing on heating and air conditioning systems, their shared passion for motorcycles soon steered the company towards producing high-performance bikes that seamlessly blend advanced engineering with exquisite design. 

A Legacy of Innovation

Bimota’s journey into motorcycle manufacturing began when Massimo Tamburini, after experiencing dissatisfaction with existing motorcycle frames, designed a custom frame for his personal Honda CB750. This endeavor led to the creation of the HB1, Bimota’s first motorcycle, which combined a Honda engine with Bimota’s proprietary frame design. This innovative approach set the tone for Bimota’s future endeavors, focusing on integrating high-performance engines from renowned manufacturers with their own meticulously engineered chassis.

• Tesi H2: A modern marvel, the Tesi H2 features a supercharged engine and Bimota’s signature hub-center steering, showcasing the brand’s dedication to pushing technological boundaries. 
• KB4: This model combines a classic aesthetic with contemporary performance, powered by a Kawasaki engine and embodying the harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation. 
• SB6: Launched in the 1990s, the SB6 utilized a Suzuki GSX-R1100 engine and became one of Bimota’s most successful models, celebrated for its exceptional handling and design.
